Sounds good you took decisive action when something was wrong at a job. I had a truly awful position when I was out of college for a local business, the owners and management were contemptuous of their customers and abusive towards their employees. I couldn't allow myself to walk away from it because I felt I should make it work out, even though it would never have been a good thing. After about a year they fired me 'without cause'. I could have taken them to court for improperly terminating me and gotten some kind of settlement or back pay, but instead I moved on, I was happy they were out of my life, and I had learned what a bad job was. because of all of this, I never had to go though a situation so obviously wrong again. And I was so painfully unhappy being there, plus a bunch of strange things happened after I had left that I was so happy not to have had to deal with. Could be that walking away and being done with the whole thing will get you father down the road. Crazy employers live in a crazy world.
