Call of the Wild

Night came on, and a full moon rose
high over the trees, lighting the land
till it lay bathed in ghostly day… and
the strain of the primitive remained alive
and active.

 Faithfulness and devotion,
things born of fire and roof, were his;
yet he retained his wildness and wiliness.
And from the depths of the forest - the
call still sounded.

    there is something

    over everything else
    even more than
    your whole life

    in the moon

  2. Yes I did, I don't hold totally to astrology, but I am a Cancer and I do so love the moon, my whole life.

    last night
    the moon was
    a crown of ice
    over the
    mountains

    tonight it dips
    like a hook
    into the sea

    the ends
    of the crecent
    bend together
    as it reaches
    the horizon

    yes the moon
    has powers

    1. Astrology confuses me, sometimes it's so accurate - it unnerves me.
      This is really beautiful :

      "a crown of ice
      over the
      mountains"
